My work begins with curiosity about people: how we understand ourselves, how we affect one another, and why we sometimes repeat behaviors that work against what matters most to us.
I began working as a therapist in 2009 and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2011. My training in family systems taught me to look beyond an individual problem and pay attention to the relationships around it. Years of listening to clients have deepened that perspective.
I have also owned a CrossFit gym and spent much of my adult life in wilderness adventure. Those experiences have reinforced a simple lesson: understanding something and being able to act on it are different. Progress takes preparation, honest feedback, and repeated effort.
Human Nature Advisory brings that perspective to the human side of leadership. I help leaders examine the dynamics around them, take responsibility for their own part, and make changes they can put into practice.
I don’t assume I understand your organization before I have listened. I will ask questions, offer a perspective, and sometimes challenge an explanation that has become too comfortable. I expect to learn from you, too.
My advisory work focuses on leadership and working relationships. Clinical treatment, when needed, is a separate engagement.
